2026 Director’s Awards

Jun 3, 2026

The 23rd Annual Director’s Recognition Awards took place on March 26th at the California Natural Resources Agency’s Auditorium and were livestreamed. The ceremony may still be viewed at this link. As in previous years, interpreters stood with other departmental staff so honored. Their work represents the fulfillment of the missions of both the department and our division. Awardees also demonstrate the importance of working alongside staff outside the traditional confines of interpretation and further opportunities for collaboration. A list of recipients either from the field of interpretation or who teamed up with interpreters follows.
