Explore California’s Water Story at Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area
Discover the story of California’s water at Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area in this 90-minute program! Students will explore the California State Water Project, uncover the history of the former town of Cedar Springs, and investigate how watersheds collect, store, and move water across the landscape. Through interactive activities, students will learn how runoff can carry pollution into our waterways and discover simple actions that help protect clean water for people, plants, and wildlife.
